These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Hermes Connect mobile application, the hermes-connect.com website, and related services (together, "Hermes" or the "Service"), published and operated by Pantheon Technologies ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using Hermes, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who may use Hermes

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use Hermes. If you use Hermes on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your profile, for maintaining the security of your login credentials, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at info@pantheontechnologies.us if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Hermes for your own business networking and contact management. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of any part of the Service, except where such restrictions are prohibited by law.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you add to Hermes — your profile, contacts, notes, tags, and tasks. You grant us the limited license needed to operate the Service: to store, process, back up, and display that content to you and to the recipients you choose (for example, when you share your card, share a contact, or send an invite). Your public card page displays only the profile fields you choose to fill in and is visible to anyone with the link.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Hermes to:

violate any law, including anti-spam laws such as CAN-SPAM and TCPA — invites and messages must be sent only to people with whom you have a genuine personal or business relationship;
upload content that is unlawful, deceptive, infringing, or harassing, or that you do not have the right to share;
collect or store personal data about others beyond what they have knowingly provided to you in the course of networking;
interfere with or disrupt the Service, probe or test its vulnerabilities, or access it by automated means; or
impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Third-party services

Hermes integrates with third-party services such as Google Firebase, Google Gemini, Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, SendGrid, and Twilio. Your use of those services through Hermes may also be subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or for content on external websites linked from the Service.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, software, logos, and branding, is owned by Pantheon Technologies and protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the license in Section 3, no rights in the Service are granted to you.

8. Fees

Hermes is currently provided without charge. We may introduce paid features in the future; if we do, pricing and terms will be presented to you before you are charged.

9. Termination

You may stop using Hermes and delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Account → Delete Account). We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections 4 (for content already shared), 7, 10, 11, and 12 survive termination.

10. Disclaimers

Hermes is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that contact details extracted from scanned cards will be accurate — please verify important information before relying on it.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pantheon Technologies will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose and fifty US dollars (US$50).

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Pantheon Technologies is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at info@pantheontechnologies.us and give us a chance to resolve the issue informally.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update this page and the date above, and where appropriate notify you in the app. Continuing to use Hermes after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
